233 – Cast iron

CIS type 233 cast railing posts are probably the most robust of all cast rail posts. Their three rail design offers a good compromise between a simple two rail system and a more expensive full height infill panel.
Type 233RR has a removable section and when used with the 191 base socket enables the removal of both rails and posts for occasional access to areas such as slipways.

233 posts take 48mm diameter rail as standard, 34mm and 43mm are optional. Chain, in place of rails, can also be specified.
